| There are various services to Inverness. Check out the options by visiting National Rail Enquiries' Interactive Timetable and book tickets online at The Trainline. The service from London operates from Euston, and takes about eight hours. The overnight sleeper saves an otherwise wasted day travelling, but adds to the expense.
