| A very popular pastime in the Highlands, for reasons not difficult to understand. The mountains of the Assynt are are renowned for their striking individuality, and there are countless other opportunities to paint the outstanding landscapes. The bungalow owners are able to recommend memorable locations for painting mountains, general landscapes, seascapes, old castles, croft houses, rivers etc. There are several local exhibitions of high quality (Rosehall, Golspie, Bonar Bridge) in the summer months. |
